Found a very homey and unique looking place in Coquitlam.  We ordered two "dishes" one was the typical bbq beef (and came with side dishes) and another was more of a stir fried veggie and meat dish.

 

the bill came out to be a very reasonable  - we'll try to try more authentic dishes next time we go there instead of popular korean dishes.

One interesting item we saw a lot of people have is this warm rice wine that comes in a kettle. Definitely a classic item to get
